Addressing Menstrual Health & Hygiene Practices in the Era of COVID-19 Pandemic

Menstruation is the natural bodily process of releasing blood and associated matter from uterus through vagina as part menstrual cycle. Menstrual health take into account both hygiene management (MHM) practices broader interventions that link menstruation to health, wellbeing, gender, education, equality, empowerment rights. Ensuring & (MHH) in face COVID-19 crisis gains increased significance today’s world. In relation MHM, several countries have reported pandemic has worsened key challenges for women adolescent girls who bleed due reasons. This research work aims address strategies needed mitigate impacts on MHH. Also, attempts been made investigate considerations ensuring MHH among with disabilities, refugee displaced people, they are likely be severely impacted by pandemic. Secondary data (largely qualitative nature) used nature analysis descriptive. The paper concludes there need ensure supplies water, sanitation (WASH) place menstruating girls, care workers hospital settings offering services.
